An original (1919) cast metal Bruce Bairnsfather 'Old Bill' Car Mascot having inscribed 'Bruce
Bairnsfather' on the helmet and impressed makers mark and probably number
behind the muffler (both hard to read).
This great Mascot has no plinth or fixing thread and has been photographed with a 'make do' stand (will supply with purchase)
Signs of age and use but generally in good condition
Circ. 1919 and probably produced by Messrs Louis Lejeune (Mascots) Ltd
Part of a private collection acquired from a prolific collector of unusual Old Bill
