It is of hand-carved wood, gesso, paint and shellac. The angel has black hair, large black eyes, red lips, and yellow and red wings. The shelf is red. The self is nailed to a bracket behind the wings and a "pop-top soda can ring" is nailed to the bracket as a hanger.
