Early 19th large early Meiji / late Edo Japanese Imari tray or possibly a handled charger or low bowl, richly decorated with four rounded panels with flowers and plants. The ground of the tray is very richly decorated with chrysanthemum and peony heads flowers, leafs, foliage. The dimensions are 14'' by 8.5'' the condition is excellent good - has only one short very tiny hairline to the handle with virtually no age wear to the enamel. Circa 1850. Great handles!
