A large and unusual plaque or cloisonne tray. Has an interesting brass rail that is a lip and made to look like bamboo. Large size at 9.5'' wide and 5.5'' thick. The darker colors did not appear to fire well and the are some pits from making in several spots among the dark brown. The is one chip on the back and a shallow flake on the front.
