This is a small and square jarlet from the Yuan dynasty (1277-1367). It stands on a flat base and rise straight up to a flat shoulder and then towards a small vertical square mouth rim. There are two small lugs on the opposite side of the shoulder. On all four side of the jarlet, there is a drawing of a single chrysanthemum flower in copper red color. Most of the jarlets found are painted in cobalt blue and it is pretty rare to find them in copper red. The origin of this piece is from South-East Asia.
There is no repair or restoration, some abrasion, oxidization spots and on the base and glaze crazing which can be seen on the photos. There is some expected degradation and minor losses. Overall, it is in good condition.
