This is a small and an early Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368) qingpai measurement jar. It stands on a flat base with a gobular body and a concave neck and then an everted mouth rim. Around the concave neck there are round moulded spots all around it. The jar is glazed on the inside and the mouth rim and stop short just at the shoulder of the gobular body with qingpai glazed. It exposes the colour of the gobular body in a buff colour and burnt orangish light brown. The gobular body is incised with circular lines.
There is some abrasion and very minute chips which does not affect the aesthetic of the grain measurement jar. Overall it is considered to be in good condition.
The measurement of the qingpai jar: the height is 8.0cm and the diameter is 9.0cm
