Pretty Famille Rose decorated Chinese porcelain plate. Birds and flowers, and internal scenes. Gilded band in centre. Plate measures 21.5 cm diameter (8.3/8 inch). It has a few minor faults, having probably been once in wire plate hangers - it has a tiny chip to the rear (see photo) and a very very fine, tight compression hairline in one area of the rim (see photo). Presents well, and is a very attractive plate. Circa 1930s. Red diamond mark around the word China.
