SOLD Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty hand painted porcelain round dragon box and cover decorated in overglaze enamels. The top of the cover skillfully enameled with a central medallion containing a dragon in archaic style.
The cobalt blue border of the cover and the box are enameled overall with continuous long symbols, Buddhist Lion Dog -fu dog (Shishi) and lotus, the interior finely painted with a matching dragon medallion and long symbols.
The base has six character red seal Qianlong mark, but in our opinion most likely not of the Period.
CONDITION: In good condition except for one small chip on the rim.
MEASUREMENTS: Diameter: 13 cm (5 1/8 inches). Height: 5cm (2 inches).
