Pair of antique Hirado ware porcelain vases decorated with flying cranes. Each vase depicts the cranes flying, one of them with the cranes flying counter clockwise, while the other vase features the cranes flying clockwise. The vases were transformed in a pair of lamps in 20th. century. The vases date from 19th. century and are very rare as Hirado ware and as subject. The Hirado porcelain is the prince of Japanese porcelain and highly prized by the refined advanced collectors who want the best for their collection.There is a repair fissure on one of the vases.
