1930s Japanese Satsuma pot pouri bowl. Cobalt blue decorated body with lots of gilded pattern. Panels on either side - one depicts a Japanese family in a courtyard setting; the other shows a man and his children taking tea. The pierced lid holes are in the shape of hearts. Bowl measures approx. 7 cm high by 24 cm wide including the handles. Typical Satsuma tight small crackle glaze porcelain. Excellent condition.
