A finely executed, heavily enamelled Japanese Satsuma scalloped edge bowl, the center medallion decorated with women and children at play, surrounded by a brocade band, the inner edge decorated with abstract floral motifs and the outer edge with a floral and stars design. Signed, verso. Meiji Period, c. 1900. Measures 2" H x 5 3/4" dia.
