Large Chinese famille rose pattern cabinet plate, measuring 26 cm diameter. Bird and butterfly designs with pink roses and scenes of courtyard life. Gold rim, highlights and central circular band. The rear has a Chinese red underglaze seal mark for Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi or "Great Qing Qianlong Period Make". This is for the period 1736-1795. However, given the propensity to copy marks, this plate is probably early 20th century. I leave it up to you to decide. It has a matte appearance and feel, and raised feel to the enamels. A bit of dirt yellowing to the rear - would probably clean off. Nice plate all round, no damage at all. Rings like a bell.
