Unusual Chinese Export coffee cup, the ribbed body applied with leaves and berries, painted in soft tones with groups of flowers beneath the rim, the applied decoration also picked out in enamels.

References: ref. Godden -Oriental Export Market Porcelain- p171 for a teapot with similar raised work, which is quite rare. The early French porcelains of Saint Cloud and Mennecy include applied flowers such as this, and were most probably the origin for the Chinese
