Chinese Cloisonne ginger jar. This is a handsome example of the Chinese craftsmanship that was popular in the west in the early 20th century. It has a black back round with geometric brass inlay and many brightly colored flowers and other good examples of Asian motifs. It is in good original condition with no dents or loss of enamel although it does show it's age in some wear to the body and some waviness to the brass ring around the cover. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. Stamped China on the base. 10" tall x 6" wide. Price 300
