This is a much copied original CHINESE porcelain repousse GINGER JAR. The polychromed famille rose enamels are well executed with fine detail to the eight immortals which appear on the octagonal jar and lid. This is a stellar piece. Marked as early Qing Dynasty, but dates to late 19th century.
