One of the large bowls exported from China from the early to mid 1800s, 13" diameter, 5.5" high with a 8" base.
The color glazes on this bowl are bright with very fine brush detail throughout. Gold details in hair ornaments of court figures. Decorated with birds and butterflies; no cracks in the glaze; pretty, clear sound to the porcelain.
Small firing flaw on the bottom; two chips on the rim.
