Korean clothing chest. The main body of this chest is made from pine wood, Elm wood has been used for the front panels, White brass fittings. This chest has small doors opening in the center of each level. Each level is an empty compartment without drawers or internal divisions. There are often four small drawers across the top and a decorative stand to keep it above the heated floor called Ondol. The red color is not original and has been applied when the chest was restored. Kyonggi Province, Korea H. 138cm, W. 92cm, D. 42cm.
