Large, vintage Central Asian Susani made of hand embroidery of wool on cotton background. It features a floral design of incredible intricacy. It has straps for hanging on a wall, but could be used as a bed cover, or cover for a large furniture piece. It takes more than one year for an Uzbek woman to accomplish the decorating of a single piece and considering the today's wages, this art work is destined for oblivion. It probably originates from Bukhara. Additional digital photos available on request to the interested, serious buyer.
