A necklace of 26 large Tibetan turquoise beads ranging in color from delicate greenish-blue hues to a vibrant turquoise blue separated by silver rings. Each bead has its own attractive matrix and nice patina from years of wearing. The necklace was bought together with the two glass dZi beads in Lhasa, Tibet. It was restrung again recently to give it strength.
Period: 19th Century. These are heirloom beads that get passed down.
Size: Length of strand: 71 cm (28 inches) The largest bead is 35mm x 20mm. The smallest (at the end) is 10mm x 10mm
Condition: Good condition. This strand is stunning as it is but each bead has its own unique beauty and many of them would also be fantastic in separate necklaces as a central bead.
