In the original box, this signed Kato Sakusuke Oribe tea ceremony water pot is imbued with the rich Oribe green overglaze. The pot itself is well thrown on the potter's wheel and is well decorated with feldspar rich iron brown flowers. Excellent condition. c.1950. (11" diameter x 10½") (28cm diameter x 26cm).
