This item has been SOLD. In excellent condition. Our bronze dou or pedestal form vessel was used on late Qing alters for various ritual purposes. In excellent condition, this vessel is in a some what archaic style, yet retains a pleasent symmetry and form. The elaborate relief decoration and detail on the body, pedestal and foot is a stylistic reprise of an earlier time. Note the guild or foundry markings on the rim.
