This is a pair of Chinese cloisonné covered vases from a garniture. I believe that the waisted shape is unusual in Chinese cloisonne. The main color is a blue turquoise with a cloisonné lattice pattern covered with undulating flowers. They are about 12" high, and one of the vases is slightly higher than the other. The bottoms are marked China, which means that they were made between 1890-1920. They are in generally good antique condition, and there are no cracks or dents. There are a few nibbles in the cloisonné near the base on one vase and the rims of the lids, pretty common in antique cloisonné. There are also a few chips in the enamel on the insides of the lids, which do not show when the vases are on display.
I have a couple of other cloisonné pieces that came from the same garniture, illustrated in the last two pictures. Please feel free to inquire, if you are interested. The price listed here is for the two tall vases only.
