The akoda style is a stylized chrysanthemum like shape made popular in Seto Yaki wares, especially popularized by Kato Esuke in the Taisho Period/Early Showa. In the signed original box, written on the cover is "Setoyaki Esuke Saku" seto ceramic by Esuke. "Akoda Nari Teaburi" An Akoda Style Ceramic.
