A fine example of a Himalayan lute. Carved from one piece of wood with the sound box covered in reptile skin. The finial has four figures posed in various positions. The neck shows patina from the hand of the former musician owner. The strings are missing and the keys look to be later replacements. In very good condition. With metal display stand. C 1940.
