The obverse side features a grasshopper with silver and gold inlays, a butterfly with shakudo wings and gold body and antenna and a snail with silver and gold inlays. The reverse side features a grasshopper with silver and gold inlays and a spider with silver inlay. The kogai hitsu ana (the opening for kogai) and kozuka hitsu ana( opening for kazuka) were obturated with shakudo filler.
