Lovely "Do-Chu" hand hammered copper tea ceremony "Chaire" for keeping the green tea powder and prized for its ability to maintain its pristine freshness. In the original signed kiri paulownia box, the chaire itself is signed on the bottom by "Gyokusen-do" one of the premier copper guilds in Japan in the early Showa Period, C.1930. The box characters read on top: DO CHU CHA ZU TSU (copper chaire) and inside the box and on the bottom of the actual chaire, the characters read: Gyokusen-do. Perfect condition.
