Striking Meiji antique Japanese samurai boy's day doll. This figure is Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the second great shogun and unifier of Japan. He rose from being a stable boy to one of the greatest generals in Japanese history. He holds the shogun's sceptor in his right hand and wears the rare nobleman's Chinese style cap with side 'wings'.
