Remarkable bronze samurai statue executed in unbelievable detail and craftsmanship. This Meiji Period c.1890 statue of a samurai offering his sword and loyalty to his lord is a museum piece. The detail even on the sword with mt. fuji in raised relief is spectacular. The samurai stands on a bronze rock with bronze waves crashing about. His armor is finely detailed as his his flowing cap.
