Serene Gakko Bosatsu, the bodhisattva of moonlight (lunar radiance) signed by Nanto. C.1950 this Gakko Bosatsu is in the style of the Gakko at Todai-ji Temple in Nara where Gakko and Nikko, the bodhisattva of sunlight flank the large Fukukenjaku Kannon. Usually they are found as attendants to the Yakushi Nyorai, Buddha of healing and medicine. Ask for shipping quote. Ceramic, great condition.(H:24" x W:8")
