Antique, Chinese 18th century, large copper basin bowl of squat spherical form rising to the everted rim, the shoulders flanked by two applied zoomorphic mask handles with rings, (absence of one ring).
The body elaborately engraved with eight large quatrefoil cartouches and four small medallions containing various vegetation, including plum and lotus blossoms, bamboo branches and chrysanthemum flowers, against a fish scales pattern background, and surrounded by cloud scrolls.
CONDITION: Some wear to engraved designee, small amount of tin soldering on the lower part, below the mask.
