A wood Lohan was carved in sitting posture. In simple form, the Lohan was well depicted on the wearing robe with delicately lacquered motifs. He was finely preserved on the surface with enduring old patina, like the sheen of the old bronze. The patina was charming and was hardly found from the wood pieces. Some defects were noticed on the decayed hands and at the bottom which were caused from long time of age. They can be easily overlooked comparing to the imposing image of this ancient statute. Height: 38cm .
