Photos provided from a Seattle collection, as an example. Acquired in the early 1990's, a calcified jade box with carvings in the archaic style. We feel however, that it is probably a work crafted during the later Qing Dynasty. The fitted lid bears split tail dragons or chimera in the pursuit of the Pearl of Wisdom and surrounded by an archaic style kangi. In very good condition. 19th C. Size. Length, 6.5" x 3.75" wide.
