A very unusual flask composed of a silver banded gourd with a niello silver top, the stopper attached by a silver chain. Primarily used for tobacco and lime. An attractive companion to the decorative flintlock pistols of the region. In excellent, original condition with only slight wear to the niello work. Length, 4.75", diameter, 1.75"
