Antique Hindu ivory carving dating to 14th.-16th. century CE representing Krishna playing flute and Radha. The ivory carving is in shape of a rectangular panel that was attached to the bed foot for fertility and good fortune. A perforation on this panel indicates the attachment to the bed's foot. The ivory has a beautiful brown fossilized appearance with grayish crevices background contrast. Very rare artifact!. Sizel 2.4" X 2" (6 X 5 cm.).
