This is a charming pair of rustic candle stand. Of a simplistic geometric design, this is an alter piece with some remain of the wax still sticking to some parts of both the candle stand. The pair is unusual in that it is made of copper rather than bronze or brass. So this could be a pair provincial candle stand. The base has a large piece of liquid lead pour into it and stuck, to act as a weight to stabilize the stand. The pair of candle stand is probably from the late Qing dynasty to early Republic period.
No damage, repair or restoration. Only normal wear and tear. Other than that, the pair of candle stand is in good condition.
The dimension of the pair of candle stand: The height is 31.8cm, the length is 9.5cm and the width is about 5.5cm.
