This unique vintage lamp definitely brings to mind the French Art Deco designs attributed to Desny during the late 20's & early 30's. Very well made & heavy. Wood base with layers of brushed aluminum plates, and plexi or lucite (I don't know which). Gives off a gentle golden glow. Very good, original condition with no visible damage. Showing only appropriate wear for its age. New wiring with original vintage plug and socket. This wonderful mood lamp is perfect for any Art Deco or Machine Age setting.
