Two matching antique five-light Art Deco slip shade chandeliers, dating from the 1930s. These semi-flush chandeliers have their original polychrome finish with red, green, and yellow accents. Each chandelier begins with a polychrome canopy ornamented with acanthus leaves, coming down in a pole to a chandelier body with polychrome volutes and geometric detail. The chandelier body supports five gadrooned slip shades accented with vines, and each chandelier finishes in a cream-colored finial with red and green accents. These light fixtures are in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the slipper shades, just the expected fleabites on the rims. The chandeliers have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each chandelier is 19 ½†wide and 14†long. THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR EACH CHANDELIER; THERE ARE TWO AVAILABLE. A longer matching chandelier (pictured) is also available, sold separately under item # NC869.
