This is a very unusual and rare Nuart lamp. It rarely comes up for sale. Has a clear Nuart marking on the bottom of the rim area (look closely at photo 6). Lamp features an intricately detailed deco style female form in a short dress. Very graceful and beautifully formed. The globe is a white crackle shade in very good condition. The nice thing about a white globe is that you can put colored bulbs in it and change the color every night to match your mood. It has been rewired for safety.Black base is made of white metal, no visible breaks or cracks, and finish is in very good condition but not original. Woman's form is also in good condition with no dents or cracks, but her finish probably is original. There's a little loss of paint around one ankle, common on these forms, but otherwise the paint is good. This is a very attractive lamp with classic deco styling.
