This is a splendid pair of antique Art Deco sconces from the 1930’s. They feature octagonal, faux-hammered back plates with a double ridge border and an inverted scallop edge, crowned with an anthemion at the top. The ridged border comes to a point at the bottom of the back plate, where a shallow, ribbed bobeche is supported by a ziggurat detailed finial. These wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. These are 4 ½†wide, 11 ¾†tall and extend 4 ½†from the wall.
