A splendid pair of antique Art Deco slip shade sconces by Consolidated Glass, dating from the 1920’s or 1930’s. Salvaged from St. Louis, the sconces feature a ziggurat backplate with a sunburst at the bottom and roses climbing up the sides. The slipper shade features a matching design, with roses down the center and along the edges, with a Deco geometric design between. These wall lamps are in excellent condition. The shades are in very good antique condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the edges of the shades. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 11-1/8†tall, 6-7/8†wide, and project 4-7/8†from the wall.
