Very Nice 6 Light Slip Shade Top-of-the-Line Art Deco Chandelier by Mid-West Mnf

The decorative elements of this six light chandelier are really quite nice. There's a crackle surface finish in old gold, surrounded by elements of nickel plating, complete with a tapered Deco center motif.

Mid-West really did know how to design iconic fixtures, and this one has a taste of step-deco combined with the restrained features of Streamline design. Circa 1934-37, it does appear in their literature as the Empire design. And this model was absolutely top-of-the-line for this series...you could not buy a more expensive model. The family consisted of this 6 shade chandelier (with a couple different stem configurations); a three light chandelier; a two light pendant; and then wall sconces.

We have rewired the chandelier to UL standards with new sockets in our UL shop. So it's ready to hang with a standard light mounting kit, which we will supply.
