Art Deco 6 Slip Shade Chandelier by Mid West Mnf

So nice to be able to offer another really fine light to you. Here we have one of the unusual lights of the Deco era from Mid West Mfg, circa 1935. This is the SIX shade Oxford Series, top-of-the-line, chandelier. There was no more sophisticated chandelier in the Oxford Series than this one. Mid West only made the best quality lighting.

This chandelier is white metal with gold highlights with a great finish. The castings are so beautiful, with lots of crackle parts. The finish does have some minor variations, but it also has a nice mellow appearance. Most antiquers would not touch this lovely...aged white metal and old gold highlight...finish. It is simply striking.

This light has been totally re-wired in our UL registered shop, with six new sockets and a new main stem wire.

Measurements:

* Height: 25"
* Diameter: 16 ½" (measured shade-tip to shade-tip)
* Canopy: 7" in diameter. It does have a couple of extra drilled holes...for what purpose...we can only guess. They are just there now.

The amber five slip shades, and the bottom shade, are in excellent condition. As normal...there is a slight color variation between the slip shades and the bottom shade, which is normal as most folks know, but we are mentioning it as well.

A full mounting kit will be supplied...so nothing more to buy...except light bulbs.
