These sconces were made by Globe Lighting Fixture Mfg of Brooklyn, NY. They are listed in their 1933 catalog, and are stock numbered 5071. (Information courtesy Kelly Art Deco Light Museum)
The backplates have a pewter hi/lo finish, and are quite nice. They have been restored (cleaned up) and re-lacquered.
The shades are embossed (like carving) and the design is excellent.
