Beautiful gilt bronze Art Deco dancing nude lady holding a wreath with grapes. This is a beautiful Art Deco sculpture showing great motion and design. It has a nice rounded motion symbolic of the Art Deco movement. She's balancing on her toes with one foot in the air as she dances holding a wreath of grapes and bows. This is a very rare model the first we've seen. It is inscribed M. Guiraud Riviere on the base. It measures 15 inches high including the 7/8 inch marble base. The widest width from her extended toe to her back measures 7-1/2 inches. Some loss, rubbing to the gilding, spotting, overall very good condition. The marble base has been restored. This is a lovely Art Deco bronze sure be a welcomed addition to any collection. Guaranteed to please as are all our items. (Item #72012)
