Wonderful, original, vintage (probably 1930''s) bill head from France. This label says ''since the great sardine crisis (??) foreign sardines have been sold in France and labeled as domestic - ours are guaranteed to be domestic and high grade and each box has our trademarked logo.'' The snowman seems to be enjoying something -but we cant tell if its sardines... Purchased in Europe from a dealer who specializes in old paper. In pristine condition and beautifully framed.
