Although the history of film, and film festivals, in Canada is one of note, in QUebec there have always been a variety of film festivals to choose from. This one, called the journee du CInema Different evidently focused on films from France, Switzerland and Belgium, and took place in Montreal, Jonquiere, Chicoutimi, Sherbrooke, QUebec and Rimouski In 1978. Although no information can be found on this particular festival, we love the movement and nuance of this subtly colored poster - very retro, very 70''s and very, very cool. This wonderful and colorful is in very good condition and measures 35 x 45 inches. These posters were in the private collection of a noted jazz musician and producer and are only a couple of hundreds which we have just received.
