I''m guessing that Vivor was a drink that was popular in France in the 50''s ... how else to explain this elfin little man drinking sheepishly? He is just too cute - and his colors literally pop right off the page/poster! I first saw this poster when a client brought him into the shop to be framed and I fell in love with him then. And on a recent buying trip to France and Italy I found one for myself and brought him back ... he''s gracing the walls of the gallery at the moment, making me think of the South of France and wishing I could find myself a bottle of Vivor. He measures 47 x 63, he''s mounted on linen, in excellent shape and he''s quite striking... at least I think so! Created by P. Gabriel, of whom I can find no record, in, I believe, the 1950s... Please note that all of our posters are vintage, non- reproduction works of art. Thanks! Status: For Sale Reference#: vivor Condition: A - Year: 1950s circa Country: FRANCE Height: 63 in.
