While it is certainly true that I am a fan - first and foremost - of the Belle Epoque and Art Deco periods, it is also true that I buy items which appeal to me. And while this modern beer poster is certainly one of the only modern pieces I have it the gallery it does nonetheless meet certain criteria: 1. It is clean, elegant and has very crisp lines. 2. It is in excellent condition. 3. It makes me smile when I look at it. (This last criteria is purely subjective) It measures 21 x 22 inches, and was produced by the Miller Brewing Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am not sure of the exact date, but in doing some research I noticed that Miller held poster contests for their Lowenbrau brands in the 1990''s - this could well be the product of that contest. It is sandwiched between two thick sheets of acetate which serve to protect it (and produce the glare evident in the photo - sorry about that) and will be shipped that way.
