Unusual World War II poster mounted on board. This very detailed and colorful poster featuring soldiers, The Capitol Building and American Flags, appears to have been customized. The date, flags and soldier's features seem to be painted in over a printed poster. This has been done with a professional hand and is not really noticeable except under magnification. All original ornate gilded and painted frame and glass. The frame is in all-over good condition with only one small area of loss and minor scuffing to the gilded edges. The poster is very good condition. Unmarked. 22 3/4" high x 18 1/3" wide over all.
