Greco, S.
21 x 41
According to the wikipedia entry for TWA (which makes for very interesting reading), the airline flew into both Shannon and Dublin airports in Ireland during the heyday period of international flying. This poster - dating from the 1950s and signed by S. Greco (an artist for whom we can find no information), shows the idyllic Irish country side and some of its bucolic charms. The airline was one of the first to use the hub system and incorpoated many revolutionary systems in its fleet, but was ultimately acquired by American Airlines at the tail end of 2001.
